LAZY GIRL ROUTINE TO REFRESH POST-WORKOUT HAIR

3 quality products to revive hair after sweaty workouts and prolong your style between washes

I'm admittedly pretty lazy about my hair. It's not as thick and full as it used to be before all these babies, but it still takes forever to dry and style. There are countless things I'd rather be doing than standing in my bathroom blowing it out for 30 minutes (especially now that I'm 26 weeks pregnant and overheat easily;). Instead, I blowdry 1-2x per week and stretch my style by relying on a routine that spares me the daily shampoo.

1. LIVING PROOF PERFECT HAIR DAY DRY SHAMPOO

This is the only dry shampoo I've ever found that actually cleanses my hair and doesn't just feel like build-up. I spray this onto my roots and let it sit while my curling iron heats up.

2. PLAYA NEW DAY MIST 3-IN-1 STYLER REFRESH

Next, I lightly spritz my hair with this mist and brush it through. I recently discovered this product and I'm completely hooked. It smells amazing and helps to relax any indents in my hair caused by a ponytail holder. You could totally stop at this step by simply air drying or hit hair with a blowdryer to smooth things out. Personally, I air dry and then touch up a few curls.

3. ORIBE DRY TEXTURIZING SPRAY

My stylist advised me not to overuse hair spray, as it can cause my hair to be heavy and frizzy. This product is a perfect replacement, especially when freshening up loose curls. After touching up whichever strands need attention, I lightly mist them with this spray. I allow the curls to cool before shaking them out with my fingers to get an undone, beachy wave look.

Give these products a try and see if they help you minimize your weekly washes too. I'm always on the hunt for trustworthy products to simplify my days and make the processes feel more luxurious, so if you have favorites that I need to know about, shoot me an email or message me on instagram @kristenmariasrd.
