KENDALL'S CINNAMON OAT BALLS WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS

These fun little bites are ridiculously easy to make, my girl throws them together all on her own. She loves to roll them out for an after-school snack, her lunchbox or for quick dance energy.

INGREDIENTS

· 1 cup rolled oats

· ½ cup unsweetened peanut or almond butter

· 2 tbs dark chocolate chips (we love Lily's and Enjoy Life brands from Thrive Market)

· 1 tbs maple syrup

· 1 tsp cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until combined. Roll into 1 tbs balls and place in a container in the freezer. When ready to serve, allow to sit at room temperature for a few minutes. If the batter seems a bit dry, you can add a little melted coconut oil or extra peanut butter to bring it together.

*The beautiful thing about this recipe is that it’s so versatile. Use whatever you have on hand. Toss in cacao nibs, dried fruit or chopped nuts in place of the chocolate chips. Use honey or agave instead of maple syrup. Use your favorite nut butter or roll in shredded coconut, dried matcha or protein powder.
